Armstrong Fluid Technology will be promoting its extended 4600F horizontal split case (HSC) fire pumps range and innovative DE Fire Pumps at Intersec 2019.
First showcased in 2018, the extended HSC fire pumps range is designed to meet or exceed the requirements of nfpa as well as fire protection testing laboratories such as UL, ULC and FM. The compact pump design and reduced footprint makes the 4600F perfectly suited for use in new construction, packaged fire systems and retrofit installations.
Visitors can also find out more about the new DE fire pumps which utilise the benefit of variable speed pumping in high rise buildings by automatically adjusting pressure to ensure effective delivery of water throughout the building from the basement to the top floor, adjusting for variations in water supply from the city main. This brings the advantages of simplified systems, lower installed costs, and reductions in the time and cost of routine maintenance as pressure reducing valves are no longer required, all of which contributes to lower overall lifecycle costs.
